Virginia X60 SOLO

VIRGINIA

Undoubtedly the best known and oldest tobacco. Sir Walter Raleigh gave his name to this tobacco, first cultivated in the English colony of the same name, which was named in honour of Queen Elizabeth II: the Virgin Queen. It only arrived in Italy later, thanks to the fashion set by Prince Amedeo of Savoy, so much so that his effigy is depicted on cigar boxes.

Virginia has a wide range of cultivars, often named after the growing region, but the leaf processing methods also set them apart. Generally, it is very aromatic and sweetish, with light green or yellowish leaves when ready for harvest. It is unquestionably one of the most widely used tobaccos in cigarette production and a key component in many pipe blends.

It has aromatic characteristics, which can be complex in the finest cultivars; it is not overpowering in flavour, and for this reason its aroma is considered one of the classic ‘all-day’ flavours for e-cigarette users.

This aroma is extracted from a Virginia FCV; let’s find out what this abbreviation stands for. It stands for Flue-Cured Virginia, the classification of which is regulated in Europe by the EXPLANATORY NOTES TO THE COMBINED NOMENCLATURE OF THE EUROPEAN UNION (2015/C 076/01) of 4 March 2015:

“‘flue-cured’ Virginia-type tobacco, i.e. tobacco that has been dried with hot air under artificial atmospheric conditions through a process of regulating heating and ventilation, so that the smoke does not come into contact with the tobacco leaves; the colour of the dried tobacco normally varies from lemon yellow to very dark orange or red. Other colours and colour combinations often result from varying degrees of ripeness or from cultivation or curing techniques”

The SOLO range

The aroma is produced from the finest tobacco leaves through specific extraction and purification processes engineered in the Blendfeel Lab. This technology ensures they can be used long-term in pods and the most advanced refillable systems.

Format: X60 (10+50 with nicotine)

10 ml tobacco-extracted flavouring in a PG base containing 18 mg/ml nicotine, to be diluted with 50 ml of base. It cannot be used as is; add 50 ml of neutral base, with or without nicotine, to obtain a finished 60 ml e-liquid with a nicotine strength ranging from a minimum of 3 mg/ml up to a maximum of 19.7 mg/ml. 

The X60 format gives you maximum flexibility in choosing the final nicotine concentration, unlike the 20+40 flavours which allow a maximum nicotine level of 13 mg/ml.

The pack contains:

• 1 x 10 ml flavouring already containing 18 mg/ml nicotine
• 1 x empty 60 ml bottle with label, suitable for mixing
