Balkan River is a masterful tribute to historic Balkan blends, a sensory journey through rivers of history and scents of times gone by. This blend stands out for its complex and deep structure: at its heart lies Basma, the oriental tobacco par excellence, which imparts spicy and aromatic notes, supported by the natural sweetness of Virginia.
The true signature of this creation lies in its reinterpretation: a bold addition of Latakia, which imparts an enveloping smokiness, and a touch of Perique, the ‘truffle’ of tobaccos, which rounds off the bouquet with its characteristic fruity and peppery pungency. A perfect balance for those seeking an intense, dark and unforgettable vaping experience.
The blend takes its inspiration from that of blender Joe Lankford, which, as the story goes, came to life as the result of a dream in which the Mississippi River appeared. The recipe was sketched out from the memory of the dream, first thing the following morning: a blend of Virginia leaves with Oriental leaves and a few pinches of Latakia and Perique. It is a blend with a distinct complexity, yet gentle and well-suited to extended vaping sessions.
