Virginia - SOLO 20+40mL

Certainly the best known and oldest tobacco. Sir Walter Raleigh gave his name to this tobacco grown for the first time in the English colony of the same name whose name was chosen in honor of Queen Elizabeth II: the Virgin Queen. It arrived in Italy only later thanks to the fashion launched by Prince Amedeo of Savoy, such is his effigy portrayed on cigar boxes.

Virginia has a wide range of cultivars, often referring to the cultivation area, but the leaf treatments also differentiate it. In general it is very aromatic and sweetish with light green or yellowish leaves when ready for harvest. Unquestionably it is one of the most used tobaccos in the production of cigarettes and fundamental in many pipe blends.

It has aromatic characteristics, even complex in the most prized cultivars, it does not have a demanding taste and for this reason its aroma is considered among the "all day" classics for those who use electronic cigarettes.

This aroma is extracted from a Virginia FCV, let's find out what is meant by this acronym whose meaning is Flue Cured Virginia whose classification is regulated in Europe by the EXPLANATORY NOTES OF THE COMBINED NOMENCLATURE OF THE EUROPEAN UNION (2015/C 076/01) of 4 /03/2015:

“flue-cured” tobaccos of the Virginia type means tobaccos which have been dried with hot air under artificial atmospheric conditions by a process of regulating heating and ventilation so that the smoke does not come into contact with the tobacco leaves; the color of dried tobacco normally varies from lemon yellow to very dark orange or red. Other colors and color combinations often result from different degrees of maturity or from cultivation or drying techniques."
