A WAY TO DEFEND VAPING

What is happening in the world, with the ban now in so many countries on vaping, in a manner entirely instrumental to the powers and benefits of lobbies to the prejudices of significant parts of the political world with the support of scientific appointments and particular involvements is a concrete element and at this time difficult to contrast.

In addition to the few actions that can be concretely taken at a political level also by the Associations, I believe that one thing all operators in the sector and, in any case, vapers, if they want to keep this alternative to smoking alive, can do is not to take the wrong side.

One of the attack mechanisms of the established powers is the dangerousness and harmfulness of vaping products, and on these arguments the war that has been opened against us has been really heavy and shows no sign of stopping, even if from several quarters, fortunately, independent and authoritative voices are also trying to scientifically justify this alternative to smoking. We speak of an alternative to smoking because this was the historical lever for the spread of vaping.
Well, today we are witnessing ethically unscrupulous behaviour based solely on business on the part of many operators who do not hesitate to place censurable and potentially dangerous products on the market for the popularity of this means of salvation and the fight against smoking and, of course, health. In this way we place ourselves in a position of criticism and we also cause concern among the few who could help keep vaping alive and consequently the activities connected to this small industry.
This is what I mean when I say let's not put ourselves on the wrong side of the matter, I think it is imperative that we keep our commercial conduct as unassailable as possible, the recreational aspect of vaping is fine (but I would prefer to say gastronomic or oenological as a metaphor) but we should avoid putting out products that are destined to backfire on us with the obvious negative aspects. Of course mine is a partisan position, but we have been working towards this for some time and I see the potential danger to which I am not happy we are exposing ourselves.
The TPD, which has affected Italian vaping less violently than in other EU countries or in the United States, will hopefully help us survive in the rules, however difficult but necessary to guarantee vaping in the future. It is up to us not to shut the door on vaping: the good vaping.
